The difference in shades/color is so slight (could be the lighting), that it's eye-catching without being in the least bit tacky... quite nice I'd say.

If I hold my phone up to my nose and stare at your picture and quickly blink one eye and then the other I get an interesting 3D effect.

It does make it difficult driving though!
