Depends on what part of the site you are corresponding as well as what your correspondence was. Age restrictions, images and subject matter apply, along with user settings options. The later can as well be different for VIP.

Start with the basics and check your WiFi and signal.
After that it could be down to the settings

people might have your age range blocked

Might be they are younger people and dont take comments from your age group
