Sites like this encourage being outspoken. They do try to discourage disrespect, but there are so many people out here with so much STUFF running through their minds, and saying it out loud just seems fraught with danger. So….they come here, say whatever they think and get some kind of feedback. We are safe here. If someone is too offensive, there’s always the block button. But, mostly, although we may disagree with someone’s inappropriate or unsociable words, we read and respond , or we move on. Safely.

Psychologically they are no better than kids who tear down shit - smash bottles, and wreck others originality - their only creativity is to destroy.
Their only highlight and adrenalin rush is to upset people.

Yup. All the time. Millennials in particular. They think they have something over you because of age. I smile watching the sun rise in my new fully paid house with acreage, shinny truck, and a plan for the fun things I will do today because work is a distant memory. We paid our dues. 😁

@bijouxbroussard I have a feeling on this, even the alts now lack compassion for their main account. It's a strange world now, we are taught to understand emotions and being, but so many use this as candy. Why do you think the vicious attacks continue?

Unfortunately, the negative hateful people are the loudest even though they just a minority. Hateful angry people are really just scared. They're drawn here to be around people and hopefully be less scared, but their mess follows them here and spills out.

Sometimes people just want to give another perspective and that can be very eye opening.
But I remember when my mom died and I was sad and a few people here targeted me. Told me to kill myself and they didn't care about how I felt because they only cared about them and their family.
Sometimes it's just pure stupidity.
