I don't comment in the hopes of getting hearts or any other reaction. I comment because I want to share my thoughts on a given topic.

I heart everything I read unless it's something gross.

There was a time I tried to heart comments a lot more. Now, I see most only wish to heart comments of friends or groups. I still heart enough comments. I just notice many don't do so for those not connected to them.
It's fair and yet... I understand the thought that it's not why I comment, but it's nice to see people still show a courtesy.
