I don't think anyone will be getting reasonable emotional support on SW, or any other internet-based forum. But if you stay you can use it to have some fun, and to meet nice people.

I’m sorry, I never got the support I wanted. I’ve been attacked and hated many times. Coming here for support is like going to a Ukraine for a vacation.

One suggestion is that to embody the behavior you want to see in others.

If you want emotional support, are you providing emotional support for others?

A lot of people on here want to complain, then when you take the time to give them valid feedback, they get upset and shut down...I've noted people want to be told what they want to hear, not necessarily the truth...
