You got trophies for showing up, you got the latest iPads and phones, you didn't play dodgeball of kickball at recess and you didn't play outside because of stranger danger...yup, we essentially set u up to fail thanks to being politically correct and keeping up with the jones's. My next home will include a basment for when my family expands and nobody can interact in society and has to live with me. 🙄

@SteadyFlame: There are lots of awesome things your generation missed out on. We ALWAYS played outside, in the bush/forest, we'd take off to parks that were a couple Km's away no problem. We used to ride in the back of trucks (ok not safe but fun)...in the city and would wave a cops when they pulled up beside us.

I think so, I guess after we have the next great depression we will teach it again. I think I understand though, I have tried to teach the next generation but they won't listen seriously. It is gonna be bad.
