We had the Internet. What you may not get is I become sad when I see kids all hanging out together all staring at a device wishing they were somewhere else. Adults do this too now. Ie, they were living life not looking for their next connection

I had a pretty decent pc and internet in 1995, and playstation. We went out more with friends though.

I became a teenager in 21st century. I stayed away from all those electronics till I really needed one.

There were computers, they just weren't as great as now, and internet was slower.
