In the words of James Hetfield, "Judge not, lest ye be judged yourself" (Holier Than Thou - The Black Album - 1991)

I try to withhold my negative judgement and do my best not to treat my assumptions as fact.

Here's an example of something that happened one day when my daughter introduced me to an acquaintance we ran into downtown. He said Hi, he called me Mom, and as he reach out to shake my hand, he spat on the sidewalk between us. I judged him, then and there, as someone I would rather not get to know. I walked away. My daughter told him that he was rude and came running after me, all apologetic.

How would you deal with that person?

I am in no way a judgmental person. I am extremely open-minded. But if you do something to intentionally harm another person, that's when I'll be judging you.

No. I try not to be too hasty, but there are some behaviours that I judge harshly, and I don't back down.

I used to. But sometimes I do. I just try not to be an ass about it.
