Are those with gigantic heads smarter than those with smaller ones?

My friend has a big head and she fail the same papers 3 times. I know that head size depends on various factors such as the muscularity of the head and thickness of the bone. In her case, it's thick brick skull with involuntary muscles.

My boss thinks people with bigger hat sizes progress further due to potentially higher intelligence. I'm not sure it's true, although there's some evidence that people with bigger heads fare better in their twilight years.
