She claims she is making time for him but making time for someone doesn't mean you completely forget about the existence of the one who has been your friend since the beginning of highschool. And for a guy she just met too. This is all so cliche. I try to keep a level head but my fear of being left is making it hard to focus. I just need to...be calm.

@Ballisticboy: If this is atypical behavior you might go do your own thing but not write her off completely. If this a first all-consuming love for her it may take a while before she has her wits about her again.
