I am not sure about that

SW-User
I do half the time. No issues w/motivation.

SW-User
I'd like to try it, just To see how I'd get on.. I don't know where these magical at home jobs exist though 🤔
softspokenman · M
@glitterinyourface: IKR, once in a while I get a phone call or Email " Make millions working from home." by calling and Emailing other people and telling them: "You can make millions working from home." Yup, uh huh. MILLIONS ! 8)

SW-User
I used to, deadlines kept me motivated.

SW-User
I do it on a semi regular basis. it's easier when you like your job.

@DeadCowboy: great way to use time well! I'd spend the extra time sleeping or eating 😅 But then would you still shower and get out of your pjs to go to your home for work? 🤔

SW-User
@glitterinyourface: when I've done it, it was usually along the lines of get up, kick off some processes that would take a while, get food. check email. go shower. put on sweats. usually the bigger problem is remembering to do things like .. make sure you eat lunch or go outside at all for the day.

SW-User
@DeadCowboy: yeah I guess that would be where I would fail. When I'm in my office at work, hours can go by and I don't even notice so I can see already that would be my downfall! It's hard to categorise whether working from home or working from work is better. I guess they both have positives and negatives

If the network was faster i would work from home a lot more...but my husband took over the office

SW-User
Lmao oh how rude!! 😂
KingofPizza2 · 36-40, M
I hated working from home when it was for other people, now that I'm self-employed though it's easy to motivate.

SW-User
Plus you have endless pizza, why would you ever wanna go anywhere !!
KingofPizza2 · 36-40, M
Indeed! Pies piled up to the sky!
billstickers · 36-40, M
i do and i dont find motivation an issue.

SW-User
Ok, that's great, have you worked from home long enough to have a good routine?
firefall · 61-69, M
I work from home 1-2 days a week: I could actually do it all from home, but my boss likes to be able to see me now & then. I've got no problem doing this & keeping things going; although I think if the job were more creative/inventive, I might struggle doing it from home.

SW-User
Cool, I wish I could find a job like this! I think in the novelty period, I wouldn't get anything done, after a few weeks though, I'd think I'd knuckle down and sort myself a nice routine 🙂
This is an everyday thing for my partner and I. She is a succesful business person and enjoys her work. I am retired but still have to do al the domestics. It's a daily routine even on vacation.

SW-User
Sounds like you've got it all figured out and covered !!👍🏼
We do! There is glitter everywhere! 💞@glitterinyourface:

goofypony · 31-35, F
I don't think I could do it- too many distractions 😳

SW-User
I'd be the same I think, I'd be like.. Ooooh I'll just clean that mess up.. 9 hours later, you find me with a load of cleaning products, slumped in the corner!
Unlearn · 41-45, M
Frame a picture of my boss and his boss... (the pics should be a serious straight face)

SW-User
Lol nice technique! But then you'd have to look at their faces all of the time - 24/7!!
Unlearn · 41-45, M
@glitterinyourface: Dedicate one room for work. Call it your office. A no-go zone...
