I'm often incapable of empathizing with someone else's situation because I never had any real friends in my childhood. I never learned how to form a true platonic emotional connection with people. I suck at being there for friends and end up alienating them because I'm so awkward and emotionless half the time. I try really hard to emulate compassion but sometimes it just doesn't work.

Recovering pack rat with nostalgia buff mixed with future tech enthusiasm and not enough time space ways or means of keeping track of it all. Combined with a high resentment for being labeled as sentimental because I'm not. I just see past potential untapped use vectors in things and want reminders around me. In case I ever become richer than a shitpile of stripper tits and can set up a big building with idea gadgets. Plus I reveal too much about myself.
