Very rarely do I find it funny. It seems to me to be an abusive way to let people know what you really think of them. I think it's rude.

@GraceFromEP: Of course it can be used abusive, but the sarcasim i am used to is more like jokes amongst friends

That's nice that you do. It's just that I've seen it used in demeaning, mean ways, that I dislike it so much. But among good friends that are enjoying ribbing each other? Yes. It can be funny, however, not my cup of tea. The receiver may go along and laugh, but sometimes it can hurt.
