Eh, it's a bit funny because it's like being proud of your wealth...in Monopoly.

my screen name is a screen name and one I have used for years ,but my pic is real and my friends know who I am ,most my phone number .
Most of my friends are also friends on Face Book and we video chat ,talk on the phone ,so I am legit ,just careful who I share personal info with .
After having all my accounts on the web hacked and someone tried to establish credit in my name I did find out I had way to much personal info on the Web ,and had not Google and the FBI contacted me ,I could have been ruined .
But since the person's tried this from Canada ,and only had a Nick name and no social security number ,the FBI got them pretty quick and saved me lots of problems ,and though the FBI tried to take my accounts to catch a guy who got away ,I managed to keep my screen name as lots of people know me by my screen name ,not my real name .
But I have a verification number now ,if someone attempts that again ,well someone is waiting ,
So being so open on the net is not wise ,you don't need money or good credit for someone to hurt you on the net ,your real name and social security number and they can ruin the credit you may need in the future but wont have ,because some hack has ruined it for you ,and it takes forever to prove it was not you ,and who you really are ,so until I really know you ,screen name is as good as it gets

And I'm the fakest one here. I pretend to be sweet, I pretend to care and I pretend to be someone I'm not. So, yeah.

Hmmm. I don't use my real name, although my friends know it. But everything else is pretty athentic.

@StephenJ: nope unless you think I'm literally Elmo
Real.

But, uh, is that safe?

Now you got me thinking. I've disclosed a lot here, I guess that it would be fairly easy to finger me in real life if someone wanted to. Maybe I should be less naive in this sometimes predatory world.

I also do that
