GoDaddy is great for paying for the domain name. At least a few years ago, they were usually the most competitive company out there. I have never used them for creating the actual website proper, but I'm sure they are fine.

@ShadowSister I had purchased many domains from them, but now Google seems better choice to me, purchased my last one from Google Domains

I own three domains through them. Their site building tool is tricky to master.

@SW-User Did you allow members-only option to view your private pages on GoDaddy? Or were all your pages public?
