In my last AD&D2e group I played as a spellfincher, basically a mage-thief, except I was too clumsy to do much thieving, and I was too low level to do any useful magic; so I ended up basically just being the comic relief mage with fancy gadgets such as wrist-flick climbing knives or a staff with a sword inside.

I tried to do some interesting things to see what would happen such as making goblin hands into literal magical hand puppets; but I was in a group with two paladins who really took issue with quite a number of things.

I'm the opposite of an antihero. Like a Carebear that plots to enslave humanity but maintains healthy, well-adjusted relationships otherwise.
