Both of you get inside a good sleeping bag. Your body heat will keep you both warm.

Not gonna ask the obvious.
When I was in the Marine Corps, we were attached to NATO, so we slept out in the snow. It can be managed if you're prepared. Calories matter in that situation btw....you'll burn through a lot of them.
If it were me, I'd have the type of tent that allowed a sheet metal stove, I'd have a cot up off the ground to prevent the earth from sapping my body heat, and a below zero bivvy sack and top blanket resting on it. I would have some rugs down, one by my cot and certainly one as a place where your dog could snuggle near the stove. If this is a static site, I'd bank snow around the total bottom seam, and follow that up with hay bales around the circumference of my tent. And then, I'd invest in a quality saw to cut up dead wood to turn in to fuel for the fire.

@Warewolfgal94 Look for all weather and something you can insulate. Tarps, canvas, whatever. Living outside in Winter is not a game. It takes serious consideration.

I have no where to go
I need something cheap
that will last till April @Freeranger

@Warewolfgal94 good grief, don't you have some family or a relative? Look in to support services at your local town hall, or a church, they may have someone who'd let you have a room. You don't want to be out in Winter.
that tent is too thin. you need a liner or tarp over it also. . been there done that.

Warewolfgal94 · 31-35, F

If it's just you two I wouldn't go for such a big tent. It's just more space to heat. How big of a dog?
Warewolfgal94 · 31-35, F
