No parent should ever kick their kids out a group home is not the answer they need to try harder
ElizabethBabe1994 · 26-30, F
@Vegeta I mean I don’t agree with her parents putting her in a group home at all but she needs to learn that she can’t mooch off of people.

It kinda sounds like her parents want to help her but have run out of other ideas. Who knows, it might work

I work in assisted living with both kids and adults (mostly kids) its really not that bad .. she will have her own room but probably will have roommates with similar conditions.. she will be living with rules and expectations though ..

@DeluxedEdition group home .. when parents find out their kids have autism or a developmental disabilities and give them up .. the state takes over and they get put in homes like the ones I work in ..they get their own homes too . But they need round the clock staff coverage .. every shift is responsible for making sure they cook and clean for themselves..

@SW-User my best friend has been staying there for two weeks and she’s miserable but she has made some new friends. I’m not talking to me because I won’t let her in and I’m her best friend

@ElizabethBabe1994 I’m glad to hear there was a happy end to the story. Remember you have to take care of YOU ❤️
The group home will be very good for her.

@quitwhendone why you say that?
MURD3RM0NK3Y · 26-30, M
Fuck all that. 31 with no job ? Lmfao. I had to start working and paying rent at age 17. Get the hell out of here with that bullshit. She can get a fucking job like the rest of us and work for her shit.
That's crazy if her parents kicked her out. If her parents won't motivate and support her, who will? Where she will go? She might live on streets, take drugs and even sleep for money. Horrible people.

@littlepuppywantanewlife Some parents are strange!
@Carazaa my parents are better.
ElizabethBabe1994 · 26-30, F
@littlepuppywantanewlife she lived with her cousin but her cousin kicked her out for mooching off of her

She'll be ok.

Sometimes, tough love is the best. I quit making negative comments about other's situations because I never know all the true facts.
God is the only judge that counts.

@ElizabethBabe1994 I am hopeful that eventually she will understand that what you did was for her in the long run.
ElizabethBabe1994 · 26-30, F
@Mktonght Yeah. Do you think I'm being a good friend?
Mktonght · 61-69, M
It is hard to do what you know in your heart is the right thing. Yes You are being a great friend.

She might have anxiety as well as autism, or another mental health problem and it could be challenging to work. Hanging up on people is not good. If she can live in the group home she might adjust after a while.
