Happiness.

Anyone who thinks that money itself is the end all / be all will never be happy or satisfied with anything they do.

We do need some money as we are living in a material world.
I was born in a second world, formerly occupied,
communist country.

But, I know that I really don't need that much material crap. I'm not spoiled I think.

Peace of mind, love, health and happiness is what we need.

Never had much of either, but happiness matters more to me. I do acknowledge that being poor can contribute significantly to misery, so money does matter to me too, but only as a partial means to an end.
@PhilDeep Well put. People who have never lived in partial poverty cannot experientially comprehend, that we DO NEED MONEY to survive: This is not Utopia, we are after all on planet earth.

I鈥檇 like happiness. But I鈥檝e never been someone who could be happy without a roof over my head and regular meals. Broke wouldn鈥檛 cut it.

Neither. Happiness isn't a permanent state of being and neither is money. Being 'in the moment' is your best bet.

Plenty of rich people ended up killing themselves. I'll take happiness thanks

@BeefySenpie I suspect that there are more suicides among the poor than the rich both in absolute and per capita terms.

See https://media.samaritans.org/documents/Samaritans_Dying_from_inequality_report_-_summary.pdf
Men in the lowest social class, living in the most deprived areas, are up to ten times more at risk of suicide than those in the highest social class, living in the most affluent areas.
Happiness, with the caveat that you need enough money to keep you from worrying about bills. I'm never happy when I worry about money.
nojudging61-69, M
Definitely happiness. We need a certain level of money to have happiness though. I doubt I could be happy if I lacked security.
PfuzylogicM
Money, I can buy happiness.
Zingastar31-35, F
@Pfuzylogic This photo proves money can't buy happiness
PfuzylogicM
@Zingastar I totally disagree with that. They are well clothed and well fed.

Happiness is a state of mind. It is energy. It is not defined by what you do or do not have. Only those who are enlightened, or filled with the Divine can tell you what true happiness is. Those who live without the Divine will not be able to feel that sense of wholeness that they are searching for. Thank you.
Zonuss41-45, M
Happiness. Money is just a material thing. 馃挵
