Community college start with your basics. Much cheaper for the same education then transfer for your major classes

It all depends on what you want to do in life. If you want to go into a STEM field, you need a college degree. Depending on your circumstances (financials, grades, etc), you may want to do the first two years at a Community College, then transfer out to a 4 year school.
If you plan on majoring in an economic/finance related field. Do the same.
If you plan on majoring in basket weaving. Go to community college in the evenings, while maintaining a full time job.
