Do you think Nancy will resign if the GOP takes control of the house?

She is the Opposite of serving this country. Some of the Democrats are resigning due to Biden's Policies Nancy is Pushing.

Nancy can't see what she is and how hated she is. My state has the best governor in the nation. Everyone is 100% behind him other then the media. The worst governor we ever had has just announced that he is going to run again. He can't see either how much everyone loathed him. It's the narcissist way.

When McConnel resigns. No sooner. Both are fanatics.

The rest? Well don't get your hopes on someone becoming president again for a million reasons.

IF? When the Republicans have a super-majority in both houses, and Trump is back in charge...even then, Nancy won't resign. :(

[@1205472,Anastasiathelostprincess1986] Whenever something really bad happens...say stock market crash, 50% unemployment, GLOBAL PANDEMIC...
That tends to be really bad for any incumbent president. Even if the president has zero control over what happened, the average voter thinks...we need change.

How this works practically. Let's say a global pandemic strikes. In the very next election, whoever is the sitting president will likely lose 30% or more of the popular vote that he WOULD have gotten, simply because people are voting for change. It's not fair to the president, but that's the way it works.

So let's look at the 2020 election. Trump darn near won the election. In fact, many people believe he DID win the election. But even if we say he was "narrowly defeated" by Biden...

You need to put that in perspective. A good 60% of the votes that went to Biden were from voters frustrated with all the chaos that the pandemic was causing. They weren't voting for Biden exactly. They were signalling frustration with the pandemic, which Trump had ZERO control over...

Or another way to look at it...

Without a global pandemic, Trump would have had minimum 80% of the popular vote in the 2020 election.

Now that Democrats are in full control, all those voters frustrated with the pandemic are seeing what a huge mistake they made. The pendulum swings back the other way HARD soon.
