It was the best of times and the worst of times. My heart opened 100% and I loved him, wanted to spend the remainder of my life with him, and help his dreams come true. The betrayal led me to an abyss that I didn’t believe was possible. I am still trying to dig myself out. I feel like stone. I can’t feel. I miss that.

It’s complicated.

Some days, all you can do is think about the other person, either wanting to be with them or wishing to do something nice for them.

Some days, you are on the receiving end of that and it’s wonderful.

Some days, you want to get away because the other person drives you crazy. (Though, that should be rare)

Mostly, that person completes you. The things you do well are complimented by what the other does well. Weaknesses are balanced by strengths.

It's beautiful but scary sometimes.

When I was in love it was this adrenaline feeling like a high. You felt like you could take on the entire world from the power of knowing you had someone you cared so deeply for. Magical. Special. Intimate. Vulnerable. All wrapped up in passion and excitement.

The new world you discover makes sense to you.. but changes so much that you knew before that it leaves you standing between two places at the same time..

It's like having an extra limb all of a sudden. Cool but also alarming. One more thing to worry about.

It is life altering, spirit soaring, soul screaming wonder.

Yeah. It rocks.

Its like being in enthusiasm but feels worse.
