Why are people so rude, discriminated and insulting to people with disabilities?

I mean it hurts so bad because I have a disability too. I have Asperger's Syndrome. People shaming people with disabilities or "mentally challenged", it really pisses me off. Nobody gives a damn at all! I hate it!

I have Asperger’s syndrome too. I just never told anyone online after getting called a liar like 2 or 3 years ago. It gets me angry too.

I have noticed on SW and another, somewhat similar forum, long-outmoded words for mentally-ill people now being used as cheap jibes aimed at political opponents.

I steer clear of the politics - not even in my country so not my business anyway - but I wonder who is the more insulted.
