They were both awesome parents - and both lousy cooks. We didn't know it until we left home, so we thought everybody had hiking boots smothered in gravy for dinner.

Mom was the cook. Homemade desserts and homemade bread. Once when Mom got sick though, Dad tried to bake some dinner rolls he bought; he baked them STILL in the PLASTIC Tray they came in. (OOPS) Didn't eat the plastic coated "whatever they were"!

I only remember Dad cooking.

His Rice & Roni never turned out right.

Mum. Dad would do fry ups but can't remember him cooking anything else.

Grandmother. Nobody came close to her cooking. She was an artist in the kitchen.

Mom although dad can cook.
