When I was a kid, I wanted to be like everyone else... but now that I'm adult, I wouldn't change my ethnicity

growing up, there were times i dreamed of being white - of how different things would be if i didn't live in my skin color. Took a lot of deprogramming to learn to love myself.

I am a white "Caucasian" woman, and I live in a country that's ethnically rather homogenous.
I have no idea what it would mean to have another skin color. Really I don't know what it's like to be black.
