When the other person's happiness is more important than your own

To me, love is a label. There are different feelings and situations we have that we chose to describe as love. It can describe the way we feel about a pet, a friend, a relative, a partner, an idea, a location, a certain dish, etc. They ultimately boil down to some feeling of satisfaction, which from a neurological perspective makes enough sense, but some people are far more liberal with the use of the word than others.

A concept I viewed positively when I was younger but became increasingly disillusioned with as I grew older. True love is dying to self because of an overwhelming acknowledgement of a person's worth and beauty. As a parent sees in a child. A man in a woman. Even a human in animal or place. Love is the blossoming of beauty. Everything that exalts us above the routines, regulations and repression of our daily lives.

I would answer this qn differently at different times. Because, there is no real definition and we all feel and perceive it differently.

Today, it is submitting my vulnerabilities in someones trust and knowing it will be cared for and vice versa.

Love is hard to define it starts out as a feeling of sheer joy and then to a realization this person's happiness means as much to you as your own happiness does.
havent figured that out yet...i guess we cant define love..but whatever it is, it should be unconditional
