Now the next step is to make him earn his toys back one by one everytime when he is at his best behavior.

Well when he wakes up give him a hug and his toys back

You did the right thing. When he wakes up just tell him there's certain ways to play with toys and then next time he hits you with it just remind him what you said and keep reminding after everytime he does it because boys will be boys.

Of course. We are human and have emotions. If you think you overreacted just take a breath. In the meantime let him nap.

It takes great strength to be a parent. We must love them enough to do what is best for them even when it breaks our heart. That is true love. My mother was an extremely spoiled child, she extremely nasty and unhappy. Her parents didn't love her enough to discipline her and gave in to her. They didn't love her enough.

Yes I have. Hitting is never okay so you did the right thing. Did he throw it on accident or purpous?

No, although I only yelled once at a kid and that was cause he wouldnt share his toys with his lil brother

Taking the toy away was the correct thing to do. Next time he might behave and not throw it.
