Worse in relation to what exactly?

See, the good thing about the future is that there's still time to find help to change it if you want to.

@BlinkBlink: I hear ya. I figured that's what you were talking about.

Rule #1, you can NOT change anyone, you can only change yourself. That's why picking people who are of like mind is soooo important & learning how to communicate in a healthy manner is also important.

Most people attempt to change the person they befriend or get into a relationship with. VERY unhealthy.

Saying that, I have a feeling you are talking about society in general & I too have been getting more & more nervous about what is happening to the world & especially the US. Although it's shitty all over the place. There is more & more anger every day & more & more poverty. The world needs a GOOD non violent revolution.

My BIGGEST suggestion is to look for a commune.

A commune is very self governing & while they aren't all picture perfect, I would rather be in a commune where we are a real democracy, there is little to no greed, & one can feel like a part of a family.

They are also called "Intentional Communities" or "Eco-Villages if you are Green like me.

I just came across this page today. I didn't read it all, but some of the comments were along the lines of how I think which is rare. Maybe you will learn something in that :)

I am terrified of the future as well. Unfortunately, whether we like it or not, the future is going to happen. I suppose we just need to learn how to cope.

These things happen in cycles, the world comes and goes.

There is no answer. The future is increasingly dystopian.
