No. If someone is physically capable of serving, why would you try and prevent them?
SquattingSlav · 31-35, M
@Insomniac100 but they’re not mentally able to?

SlaveEt · 36-40, F
Yep. Their issues should not be forced on anyone and allowing them to join the service would require special accommodations be made. Having women in the military, especially deployed in the field or on board ship, caused and still causes all kinds of issues.
TheCensoredBrot · 31-35, M
@SlaveEt Abolish the military
SlaveEt · 36-40, F
@TheCensoredBrot interesting opinion. Laughble but interesting.
TheCensoredBrot · 31-35, M
@SlaveEt No more laughable than the OP.

It's a stupid decision that was made because, what, transgenders make people uncomfortable? Aren't there more important things for military members to worry about?
No, I don’t see any reason to discriminate against a fit person capable of serving—and willing to do so.
SquattingSlav · 31-35, M
Yes comrade! If my comrade can’t indentify what bathroom to use, or what their private parts are. How can they identify what the enemy is?
PrivatePeeks · 26-30, F
Only if they insist on wearing inappropriate clothing.

Ryanoliver2011 · 26-30, M
@Zoeoz why not?
Zoeoz · 26-30, F
@Ryanoliver2011 I think if someone who's trans is both capable and willing to serve in the military, then we should be grateful for their service
Ryanoliver2011 · 26-30, M
@Zoeoz I suppose that’s a good argument :)
BatRinseRepeat · 31-35, F
I don't really understand it.
Denel · 22-25, M
They are human beings
Unquestioned · 70-79, M
There's no reason why not
