I've always had it. I think it depends on what's causing it. Some is treatable.

I’ve had it since I was a child. It’s worse now b/c chronic pain wakes me, but about 4-5 years ago a neurologist asked me to try a heavy pain killer that should’ve knocked me out, esp since I’m sensitive to narcotics- but it woke me up more than I already was and I started cleaning at 3am 😂 so I gave up on that after 2 or 3 tries and the dr asked me to try ambien again at a much higher dose. It worked but I got nervous b/c I wasn’t supposed to get outta bed once I took it and I’d do it forgetting and find things outta place the next day and couldn’t remember anything.

A healthy routine, including yoga, exercise, proper diet, don't eat junk food and don't take any food too late. Don't sleep during daytime. Keep yourself busy whole day. Try meditation.

I've had it my whole life. I've tried a lot of things nothing seems to fix it. It comes and goes and I've learned to function with it
I have a form of self induced insomnia. When I sleep, I dream. When I dream, I die. Every night. So I fight sleep as hard as I can.

Mine was treated, it's typically pretty easy to treat. Talk to your GP about your problems sleeping.
