it's possible, if the father has those genes in his genotype. So if there are some blonde and blue eyed relatives of your husband. It's possible in 50% chance. Bot blue eyed and blonde child probability is %25. But assuing there are blue eyed and blonde genes in your husband's genes.
@ilovepoo I see. Thank you. :) It's pretty fascinating how genetic work. I only ask for research for my book. :D

I’ve heard that too, but apparently that’s not really true. This is interesting if you’re that interested...about dominant and recessive traits.

It seems scientists got so excited about becoming able to play with genes, they jumped the gun.

They should be required to go back and make amends to those couples whose marriages were ruined because over-eager scientists initially said that baby could not belong to that father and mother.

It is, though genetics are kinda weird, I know dark skinned Hispanic couples that have redhead children, believe it or not (not adopted).
@BrokenWhiskeyGlass2 Hahaha. Yeah, genetics are pretty weird in that way, but also beautiful. :) Come to think of it, I had blonde hair as a child, but my parents had brown and black hair. It did get darker, though.

[c=#BF0080]I have 4 kids(same father). One has med blonde hair and gray eyes(blue eyes till he was one)- I have very dark brown hair and brown eyes and the dad has med brown with grayish brown eyes.

It’s strange how that happens, people joked that my son could’ve been the mailman’s if his features(not coloring) weren’t so close to his dad's. My nephew's mom is blonde with blue eyes and fair and my brother is like me, their son is olive complexion and brown hair and dark brown eyes.. [/c]

There is no dominant gene:homologous pairs of chromosomes are arranged randomly during sexual reproduction, you cannot tell which genes will be more dominant but the child will have the same amount of genetic info from each parent.

My father has blond hair ,blue eyes and fair skin, my mother has dark hair, dark brown eyes and an olive complexion,: I'm a redhead with green/hazel eyes and white as a sheet🤷

It depends on what the postman looks like... lol

just joking.. I think it also depends on the sex of the child....
@missit15 They are both boys. :)
missit15 · 56-60, M
humm for some reason i would think the tendency would be for the boy to be like the father...
alabamasj · M
And plenty start with blond while little and by 4, 5, 6 or in some by middle school age it is brown
PotPrincess1 · 36-40, M
Quite likely to have dark hair but eyes could be blue or possibly hazel
walabby · 61-69, M
The father would have a recessive blue gene....
