There is a scientific study by the National Marriage project that shows that the more partners people have, especially women, the more unhappy you will be when you get married. This study can be found here: http://nationalmarriageproject.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/NMP-BeforeIDoReport-Final.pdf

Have you read the study?
I wanted to know who the National Marriage Project was first, so I read about them.

It also says that cohabitation with a previous partner that occurred before marriage and previous marriages also account for that. It also relied on self reporting, from what I can tell, which is not particularly reliable.

It's true for me. Doesn't necessarily mean it's true for everybody else.

No, the concept of purity isn't important to me. I'm just not interested.

You'll hook up when you're ready, sweetie - don't be pressured! :)

I'd like to believe that's wrong, but I don't really know :/

I don't get this at all. Any logic behind it?

pfff I was single and virgin til I was 19. I dont see why people try to rush...
Not at all. I had graduated from college before I met my husband. Many of my friends met their partners at work. In fact, most of the folks I know who did marry high school sweethearts are divorced now.
