Being told my daughter will be well enough to come home from hospital tomorrow ☺

You know that moment where you’re still under a little bit? Where you’re teetering on that line of awake and asleep and the day’s tasks haven’t jetted to the forefront of your mind yet and you can just lie there breathing deeply, stretching, smiling as you feel the good morning that’s embedded in the light outside as it tries to make its way to you through the drawn curtains? Where you’re taking that peaceful moment to soak up the delicious warmth under the covers that was right there when you closed your eyes the night before as the cool air outside of them kisses your cheek while you hug the pillow tightly one more time before you leave the bed that will call you back several times later in the day? That moment.

When I have something hot to drink and something good to eat.

I woke up, so that was good.

Waking up to another day! That's more than what most get to do!

The fact we are half way through the working day......

My day didnt end

My day has been miserable and depressing

So far, it's that I woke up and realized I managed to get 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep.

First cup of coffee......sipping while my cat lectures me regarding all of the injustices in her world...

Waking up. I went to bed with a really bad headache and didn't think I would see today.

I've had one of my students write an exam far better than his last one.

Learning that I didn't have school— it's a snow day. :)
