As I get older, I can look back & see God answering prayers in my life that I didn’t even pray. He was always there to guide me, when I would let Him. My mistakes came when I tried to do things my way.

just once ever. and i'm not religious in any way or normally the praying type.but i wanted just that one thing that one time... and i got it.

Well, yes. But I always wonder if the prayer did it, or if it might have happened anyhow.

I never pray for myself. Only for others. When the good happens I'm glad, and thankful, just not convinced.

@Serenitree I feel the same way. It’s not doubt at all. I believe that God has a plan for each and every one of us even before we pray. And He knows what is best. And I trust Him.

@SimplyTracie I'm not saying you doubt God I'm sorry if I offended you I meant we all have doubts about prayers and such . It's hard to know for sure if it's not just destined to happen. But I've had some amazing things happen because of prayer. I have felt the amazing peace that God can give and it was incredible

my prayer was certainly answered it was certainly a miracle but I didn't believe it enough and was too cold and scared and stupid to land it but it came.. because I didn't have enough faith and perserverance the universe wasn't asking for much but I'm ruined now... it happened tho and I love the universe the same

@MartinTheFirst I see. I don’t know God’s plans for each of us or the universe. I pray for people all the time, for their healthy recovery after surgery and things like that.
