@mightysuperboy Most or all people are hypocrites. I am sometimes, admittedly. Though just because someone is a hypocrite does not mean that their warning to you about doing something wrong is invalid. By the time someone is an adult they're likely to have fallen into many bad habits they don't want their kids to get into. You can set the example to the adults around you and show them there is no need for swears.

I feel uncomfortable. A lot of people say that swears are the same as other words but I don't think they are. I don't think anyone can truthfully tell me that saying the f word is no different than saying cat.

I think they are not articulated enough because they are too god damn lazy to open a dictionary and learn a word that best describes what they feel in the moment. I think swearing loses its meaning because it’s all out of its correct context making the individual sound utterly pathetic and uncool. Sometimes it's excessive and annoying. More so though I never fully trust people who get bent out of shape over swearing and never, ever do it. I will always see them as censored and fake. Rightfully or wrongfully it is what it is there, I feel like they are putting on airs and not grounded.
