Hmmmm not sure I'd go more below hahaha... but seriously I don't agree... u got to mourn your relationship .... takes time
Madhatter · 31-35, M
Can say from personal experience, does not necessarily work. At best, it's a temporary relief. I stand by that the best way to get over someone is to meet someone else, but that doesn't really mean sex. Meet people to fall in love again. Get something that lasts more than a night.

Get INTO someTHING else might work out better:)

It may help some people but that's not a "one size fits all" suggestion.

Take your time, let one relationship fade some before starting another.

Only 50%. Cuz to get over someone you could get over someone else too!
earnme · 51-55, F
Doesn't work at all, just makes you feel worse afterwards.

I would say falling in love with another can help. I am not sure just having sex would, though. It think it would have to be love.
But I have never had a girlfriend. I have had many crushes and heartache. But no relationships. But felling for a new person helps me forget about the last crush.

Not a good idea but people do it

Nope, doesn't always work sometimes it just highlights how awful other people are compared to your ex.
ninjavu · 51-55, M
Sometimes, sometimes not. Often depends on the nature of the relationship you're getting over. If it was mainly sexual, then it could apply.

SW-User
Nope, doesn't work it lasts only as long as the sex does.
ninjavu · 51-55, M
