Separating from my best friend/husband. It was one of the most difficult decisions ever. As far as it being the right/wrong path, I ultimately feel like it was for the best. It's still tough to this day because he still has hope that we will get back together. I, however, am ready to move on - although I'm finding out that I'm terrible when it comes to dating.

Callmehopelessnotromantic- i understand your pain very well. I guess the saving grace is knowing that you are happier to be alone than with someone who causes you stress and pain. I beleive that everything can br turned into a positive eventually. I guess i see all the negative in life to be a training excersize, turning me into who i need to be. Ready for the moment when i meet the "keepers", the people you would happily keep in your life forever. Sometimes adversity can just be a tool to make us more self aware, cause us to look honestly at our own soul. Good luck my friend. 😘

When i had to decide if 3 years of arguing and pain was enough, or to vanish from his life without a trace. I fought it for too long and chose the latter. It will always hurt to the core but it had to be done.

I have total empathy Gunner, my situation was very similar. Mine was my first love from school! Lol her family are Greek and hated me! We tried again because i guess we were living in the romantic past and forgot the reality. The truth why it couldn't work wasn't her family or our cultural differences, we were just to different! The positive i took from it, is that i will not wonder what might have been, i now know that my wife is more than i deserve and is more right for me than wrong 😊

We've all been there Thundergirl, when he is the right one i think you will automatically relax. It is hard and stressful to be yourself around a new soul, worrying how he will see you, feel about you etc etc. i hope you find your soul mate, you are in my prayers today, you will find your happiness one day 😘

Thundergirl- that is an aweful situation to be in. I have felt similar pain. I am sure you will improve with practice! 😄 perhaps you just need to be yourself, choose the right type of person to date, and most importantly......relax! 😊

I only do what we all should my sister. Empathy and understanding are wonderfully warming for the soul. I try to treat people how i need to be treat. 😘

Whether or not to give up on life in general or to push on through heartache and pain and try to make a life for myself. I chose the latter but it's a work in progress
