As other people are suggesting, and as seems to be the case with other people who have had this problem, it seems to be age-related. SW is trying to protect you from being harassed by pedophiles, it would seem.

Under profile settings, we do have the option to block everyone under 18. If someone did that, it might not be directed at you personally. And I wonder if a bunch of people had their accounts automatically reset to that, without their doing anything and without their realizing it, just because....these things happen on the internet! Net glitches.

I am curious. do you have the option of blocking content from people above a certain age?

it is a glitch in how the filters were activated, a lot of people are blocked from seeing their friends and stuff

i have an option to block all content from people over 18 but its not activated i double checked that

Well, of course not all adults are pedophiles and not all teenagers are dumb, but it's one of those things where it's so serious (and sadly so common) that nobody wants to take the chance. While for an individual, like yourself, it's not needed, but in the grand scheme of things, it may actually help some people. Just a minor annoyance.

I haven't blocked you. Go to my profile and let me know if you can see it. If you can, it probably means that the profiles you can't see have adult content on them. It doesn't mean they've blocked you.

its up to that person to block you I find it annoying when blocked by someone I have been blocked for the first time now too and all I said was hi I think its rude of them

You need to change your settings. I'm 18 1/2 and can't view someone a day before 18, so the younger person has to make the move.
