Coolboy- I can understand totally! I've been there and done that. The worst thing you can do though despite all conditions is to stop loving. Love is who you are and the very nature of love insists to be expressed and shared with others! When I went through my dark nights of the soul I withdrew big time and stopped caring to give my love. It was horrible! It feels so UNNATURAL to deprive myself of giving love even when the conditions aren't supportive. I give love regardless because it makes me feel good and feel my nature in the act of giving. It's healing to remain open hearted, and you truly do function better with heart and mind open working in unison.

Even if you've been slighted by many people don't let that stop you from being who you are and giving the love you want! There's always someone you can be kind and loving to who'll appreciate your efforts and won't take advantage of you. You'll get the reciprocation you deserve. You'll see😊

The number 1 thing I make sure to do to show people I care is ask how they are doing and ask how they are feeling or what is on their mind and i ask in detail. If they want me to back off then I do but the point is to show them i genuinely care what they think, feel, and what goes on in their life. It's what i would want and from what i've seen it works pretty well.

Looking in their eyes, acknowledging their presence, a genuine smile to let them know it's all okay. Usually i do this at work, not while walking alone by the road lol coz then i'm in my own world. :)

Send them random texts professing my love for them, wishing them to have a good day on a random morning, I love hugs and touching, but not everyone is cool with that.
