The short answer would be no. However, it is possible (however unlikely) for the individual to prove that they have changed. Then we could start rebuilding that trust.

no because in the back of your mind you know if they lied to you once whats stopping them from doing it again. especially when it was done on more than one occasion.

No, been there. Trust can gradually come back to a higher level, but it will never be 100% again.
