there ARE agencies where your contributions can help, properly to those who are filing for assistance who may or have gainful employment that can take advantage of programs that lead them further to better their future.

yes, some of those do work, better than giving money to a homeless person.. not all homeless are there unfortunately, quite a few are by choice.

those who are crazy though... blame reagan, they lost their facilities to engage them to protect themselves and be provided for not just shelter but medicine and programs if they can actually perform accordingly in society and for themselves.

My advice would be to do something that makes you feel like you deserve it.

Undeserving of what? Did you personally rob them or take away their lunch? Maybe you kicked them out of their home?

Unless they live in a third world country there is really no reason they should be poor.
