Depends on what you consider a win. If a slight majority in the Senate and a large majority in the house, then yes.

I wouldn't define that as a win though. That would be a ⅔rds majority in both house and Senate. The Senate is really unlikely.

A win is that ⅔rds majority to override the president.

You are probably right. And Americans will expect this to make a real difference and everything to get better.. And it wont. Partly because of the depth of the hole America is in. And partly because of the amount of damage Trump has done to overseas relationships. Thats generational..
So America might as well keep on the path to an authoritarian regime. At least the troublemakers will be dealt with. (Of course, we all have different ideas on who the troublemakers are..)😷
