It's actually a reflection that wasn't created by the Chinese people. There was a Chinese prophecy from many generations ago that the second sun from the other side is a warning sign to the Authoritarian.
I don't know how the atmosphere and their Habitat that created it but that's a reflection.

No, there is a video, i posted it here last year@FreestyleArt Chinese made their own nuclear sun and rose it to their sky, look for the video on internet. I don’t know if its still up but they were recording it with their phones being “put up” and even clapped and yeeeeeeeyyeed !

Its nuclear radiation. Created to access great amount of electricity. Its a vast project. It will run till June 2022. In absence of fossil and natural resources people will make such experiments for future races.
