My daughter mountain climbs and backpacks alone and parachutes and skis. She loves it and would feel dead without it. My fingernails are bitten to the quick, but her cheeks are rosy and her eyes shine.

@Mindful Not like her. I rode rowdy horses and got tossed a lot, but the second story of a building gives me vertigo (a slight exaggeration). I prefer to find a way AROUND the mountain, but I'll never know the glory of looking down from the peak. If somebody put me up there I still wouldn't know the glory - I'd be barfing.
