A very big problem with electronic communications. A typed statement can look bad when not accompanied by facial expression, voice tone and body language. Add alcohol and you've got a misunderstanding looking for some place to happen.

About all you can do is grovel and hope it works.

Both of you completely right. The way I reacted was totally unacceptable. No excuses. This girl has been a great friend and I’m pretty ashamed to be honest.
