If you're giving full acceptance, you would accept if someone doesn't see you the way you want them to.
Not everyone sees things the same way, not everyone believes in the same thing. Accept that.

it only took me twenty years to learn not to give love/admiration/idolization to those who don't care for it .. save it for someone who cares because not everyone wants to return feelings and that's their right as well to feel or not feel however they do to whomever they wish you know? respect their feelings or lack thereof as theirs

@Boeing Is there more contextual verbiage that you could provide or are you just letting off some steam?
I don't understand what you are saying, and I would certainly like too. 🫠
My guess is you're talking about men not being "present", or at least available to work at it. Am I close?
The spiritual aspect is throwing me off. 🤔 Thanks

I know this feeling and after a while of giving and never receiving, it‘s time to walk away. Easier said than done.

Relationships/Friendships are a two-way street

But they ebb and flow from one side to the other

Patience is needed sometimes

Some people show it through action.
And even if you are not satisfied with the level of emotional intelligence that they are displaying, they are doing the best that they can. Be patient. Don't expect too much. And appreciate the effort that is given. ☺

Best wishes I wish for the same ..
I believe that mutual recognition fosters stronger connections. 😃👍🏻
But isn’t that a good way to weed out those who aren’t worthy of the time you spend giving them admiration and support?
If they aren't reciprocating then you have your answer who is worth your energy and time and who isn't.
