The thing that upset me the most about this situation is that the guy basically stopped replying to my messages because online friendships aren't important to him. This is a reflection of who you are. If you treat people like this then it should come as no shock that maybe your real life situation with not having friends is never gonna change

People like that my friend will be a lonely old person.

My definition of "idiot": One who passes up a good opportunity for reasons that will not benefit him or her.
