I have one best friend that is the only person I've never ever had a disagreement or argument or even a negative thought. She's probably the absolute closest I'll ever come to having a soulmate.

I don't think people have the same definition of the term, to be honest. People have been happy throughout their lives with more than one person. Friends can be soulmates, for that matter.

In all honesty. A big fat zero.

@TrysNagain: Thanks, as much as I accept the term at all. Some people believe in love at first sight, too, and I just never have. THIS is the dictionary definition I found for soulmate: "a person ideally suited to another as a close friend or romantic partner." It doesn't say that this has to be the ONLY person who fits that description.

That's not necessarily what a soulmate is so, most people don't think they can only have one. I myself think I'm just a screwed up mess and that's why i never had any others😁

Three in terms of friendship, possibly two romantically.
