My dad made homemade Italian spaghetti, smelling it simmer, taste buds going wild,slight drool, I wouldn't eat anything until it was ready, only had room for more spaghetti that way. We'd eat about 2:30 p.m. He'd start preparing it in the early morning..yummm

In the 1960s the BBC in the UK ran an April fools story about the damage to the spaghetti harvest, and showed farmers collecting spaghetti from trees. Back then noone knew where spaghetti came from and thought the BBC always told the truth.. so everyone believed it
