We have a commercial coffee maker from the 1970s/1980s time period Still works like new.
If you ever watch the TV show Alice the they work at Mel's Dinner. They have the very same coffee maker has we do.
Nothing on it is automatic, Everything is manual and thats why it lasted so long. This thing has to be at the bare minimum 50 years old

we use it everyday for the past twenty years ourselves. I found it thrift store in the near by city

Get one with an insulated pot that doesn't need a hot plate. You don't have to remember to shut it off as nothing is on after the coffee finishes brewing. Mine keeps the coffee hot for two hours, and since it's not evaporating like a pot on a hot plate, you don't get the super-concentrated "jamoe" later on.
